Monkey day...

Today started and ended with Monkey. To keep Moose from waking up super early just to see the hubs, he goes in and gets him up before leaving for work. But this morning when Moose was woken up, he immediately started telling the hubs about a dream he had. Then on the way out the door, apparently he tooted really loud. That was all it took to wake up poor Monkey. Thank goodness, the hubs did his best with her. He changed her diaper, dressed her, and put her back to bed. And it worked! I was so glad. I can get up as early as 7:30 or 7:45, but this was like 6:55. I was not happy at the idea of being awake for the day, especially if she would be cranky-tired from waking up too early. But she went back to sleep and woke up just after 7:45. Whew! The day was able to start off on a good note after all.

Then tonight, she was in the silliest mood. She was jabbering, babbling non-stop. Apparently she was trying to say "the end" and Moose thought it was great. It's when kids get in those cute/silly moods that I want to let them stay awake because they're so darn cute. But it was well past bedtime, so she hit the hay anyhow. But it was such a nice end to the day, having her giggling, smiling and babbling away.
