Winter has begun...

So two days ago it started snowing. It didn't snow today, but it didn't melt either. We've already had to explain to Moose multiple times that snow does not mean it's Christmas. Only that it's winter. Guess that means we ought to get the kid's gear in order. They both need winter boots, and Monkey needs some thermals. She's actually old enough this year to be a part of the snow playing. We'll see if she likes it or not. I think she might enjoy sledding. As long as there are no wipe outs. Moose can't wait for snow ball fights, snow forts, igloos (I don't know why he thinks I can make one), snow angels, and more. He has a checklist he likes to rattle off every now and then.

At least when it's snowing, Monkey let me put a hat on her. I tried a month or so ago at a football game and she screamed til the hat came off.  This should be an interesting winter. :)
